Brett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Owner of Embracing Uncertainty Therapy and Wellness, LLC, as well as Integral Therapy and Counseling, LLC.

JULIA GRAY, MSW, LSW

Clinician

Julia is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker in both New Jersey and New York.  Using a psychodynamic foundation, Julia supports clients struggling with trauma, eating disorders, substance use issues, self-harm, depressive and anxiety disorders, grief, and relationship issues.  Her warmth and compassion creates a space for clients to feel safe, supported and understood. Julia is adept at highlighting and amplifying innate strengths to support clients towards the healing and change they desire.

AMY GIARRATANA, LCSW

Clinician

Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She incorporates several modalities into her clinical practice including dialectical behavioral therapy techniques, mindfulness and meditation, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Amy enjoys focusing on thought patterns and using her skills to identify and modify negative behavioral patterns. She hopes that clients are able to build positive self-images, self-efficiency and incorporate the techniques they learn into their everyday lives for better overall well-being.

Amy enjoys spending her spare time cooking, building Lego projects and with her two cats.

ANGELA CONFORTI, MSW, LSW

Clinician

Angela recently graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with her MSW, and is currently a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).  Angela specializes in treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related disorders. Her personal journey through living with OCD and anxiety has created her passion for helping clients live meaningful lives in spite of fear.  

Angela utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, mindfulness and meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques to help clients work through anxiety. Her non-judgmental therapeutic approach involves being able to accept and fully welcome all emotions and feelings just as they are. 


In her spare time, she enjoys being creative (crafting, painting, sewing), spending time with her loved ones, and being part of causes she is passionate about.

MICHELLE BIVAS, MSW, LSW

Clinician

Michelle is a Licensed Social Worker specializing in trauma, mental health, and behavioral health. Michelle studied psychology, women's and gender studies, and sexuality studies, followed by her Master's degree in social work - all at Rutgers University.


Michelle works with clients in a fluid manner by utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities, and holding importance for life's little moments right beside the big ones. Michelle uses her relationships with clients to highlight their strengths, challenge maladaptive thoughts and behaviors, guide coping skill development, and empower them to make changes to feel comfortable, confident, and secure in their lives, decisions, and themselves.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys baking, cooking, watching movies, and spending time in nature.

ERIN SCHEIDLE, LAC

Clinician

Erin is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) currently pursuing her goal of receiving her LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). Erin graduated with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University in December 2017. 


Erin specializes in treating individuals diagnosed with Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, and Eating Disorders. She is trained in working with clients in psychiatric crisis. She specializes in using CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and mediation in therapy sessions. She understands that no theoretic approach is a “one size fits all” and will tailor each theory to specifically match your needs and goals. 


In Erin’s free time, she enjoys practicing her own self-care techniques of spending time with her family and dog, working out, and getting creative by making new crafts for her home.
